Chute Maintenance
Keep Your Chutes and Compactors Working in Peak Condition
All of UK Chutes’ refuse chutes and compactors are manufactured and installed to the highest possible standards of quality. However, without regular maintenance no system will continue to work at full capacity indefinitely.
This is especially true when dealing with waste and refuse, which can cause health problems if allowed to build up. That’s why we’re happy to provide all of our customers with a range of maintenance and cleaning services.
Regular Maintenance Contracts
All chutes are required to meet with fire regulations – to BS476 part 22, section 6, with a service inspection completed at least every 12 months. Additional maintenance may be required, subject to the specification of the chutes installed.
UK Chutes offer three regular preventative chute maintenance contracts, which provides visits at three, six or twelve monthly intervals.
A fully trained maintenance engineer will inspect your chutes and compactors, make any minor adjustments or repairs, and provide a full written report on any serious work that needs to be carried out. We’ll then be happy to carry this work out as required.
One-Off Maintenance and Repair
In the unlikely event of a breakdown, we are also able to carry out one-off chute maintenance and repair visits. Simply get in touch with our experts and we’ll perform a site visit, put together a written report, and carry out the necessary repairs.
Chute Cleaning
UK Chutes can also provide full chute cleaning services, using the latest tools and techniques to ensure that your chutes are kept clean and free of any residue which can build up over time.
